When I want to travel light, this is the bag I grab. The FORWRD Cross Court Sling only fits two paddles, but it honestly has everything you need for a solid pickleball session. There’s a dedicated pocket for a water bottle, another for pickleballs, and inside you’ll find a slick, secure space for your phone, an extra shirt and keys.
The build quality really stands out — the bag is sturdy, holds its shape, and doesn’t collapse or deform. I also love the multiple loops on the front and back, which make it easy to clip a towel or accessories with a carabiner. The thick rubberized bottom is a nice touch too, especially when you need to set it down on the court.
One of my favorite features is the built-in chain link hooks, letting you hang the bag vertically or horizontally — super convenient during play. At its price point, it’s absolutely justified. These are easily some of the best-looking pickleball bags out there, and they perform just as good as they look.

The FORWRD Cross Court Slings are so much better than all the other pickleball sling bags you see out there. The materials used offer amazing protection against all the elements, the bag itself is suprisingly roomy for a sling, and the little features like the ball and bottle holders are so much better than what other bags have to offer.

This sling bag is awesome. It’s stylish, functional, and pretty bad a**. I am able to fit 3 paddles as wells as all my daily essentials including 3 balls and a water bottle. Well worth the price.

Pretty new to the world of pickleball but have had many slings, bags, & backpacks over the years. This sling bag is a perfect match to my needs. It carries up to 2 paddles with covers with ease and has room inside for my towels and maybe more little items. The water sleeve hold my 40oz hydroflask with ease and I enjoy using the mesh ball carrier—it even folds away into a pocket if you don’t need it. One thing that I learned about the bag that I didn’t know was that there is a small zippered pocket along the side that has space for my wallet phone and other similarly size thin items.
Great product. Fits well and looks great.
Thank you, John! We're thrilled that the Cross Court Sling is a perfect match for your needs and that you love its thoughtful features like the paddle sleeves, water bottle carrier, and hidden pocket. Just bought the back slightly discounted. The bag isn't small, but also isn't large. It'll work for my need (barely). I'd love to be able to store two paddles, shoes, and my water bottle, plus two balls. Fortunately for me, this works only for 1 paddle, a pair of size 9 mens shoes, and a water bottle, plus several balls. It's almost there. I do need to compress the bag while zipping to make it work. Where I'm located, the pavement is just too dirty to be wearing court shoes around and getting them dirty or grimy with unknown substances from city streets. I think most people want the same as I do.
The other arrangement that works is it'll fit my Macbook air along with several paddles, bottle, balls, but no shoes.
The build is outstanding, but utility is a bit lacking IMO.
This bag fits more the I expected. It is a great day bag. Fits everything but my sneakers. I bought it because it was on sale and I am pleasantly surprised how much it holds. And the build quality is amazing.
Good:
- Premium materials
- Build quality
- Size/Fit
- Most features
Bad:
- Slideability to front
- Bottle holder size/adjustability
Ugly:
- Magnetic ball holder bag doesn't stay closed with fuller bag
Solid construction. Sleek design. Good stuff!
So so backpack

Cross Court Pickleball Sling
Thank you, Kim! We're thrilled you love the Cross Court Pickleball Sling. We appreciate your support!
Had the great fortune of getting this Forward Pickelball sling bag at the best price of USD 60. Having bought all types of sling bags from the cheap amazon ones, to name brands like CRBN and Franklin. This is by far the best one. Has the perfect size, the best materials and great fit and finish. Also, a big plus is the magnetic water bottle holder that I believe fits up to 32oz bottles and the other side of the sling bag has a 3 pickelball ball side pocket that sticks out of the bag. The Bag can carry up to 3 paddles with or without covers and has an interior pocket and outside pocket for keys, grips, cell phone, etc.The shoulder strap is padded and the bottom of the bag is very well protected. Only thing I had to put on was a caribiner over the little fence hook, because it was too small. This is a very easy and cheap fix. I would recommend this bag to anyone .I am a very detailed oriented person and this cheked almost all my boxes and for this price it is a steal. Thank you and hope this helps someone.
Great bag
Cross Court Pickleball Sling
New but well designed. Sturdy zippers. Ball bag on side a bit too tight but hopefully will loosen up over time. Well worth a few extra dollars over my previous bags. Should last forever.
